Not every band is made up of wind and brass instruments on a high school campus. Many times there are other bands that students would like to pursue...rock bands, bluegrass bands, worship bands, post core punk….
Band Coaching at Colorado Springs School of Music is a great way to bring people together and learn how their instrument fits in the context of other musicians. Many musicians have grown up learning how to read a sheet of music, but when they are in a room of other musicians who want to “jam” with them, they just don’t know where to start.
We are passionate about going beyond playing that sheet of Beethoven music. We love it when our students are creating something exciting with others. In fact, we are in the most exciting era of history to engage in the music industry. There are so many user friendly tools and platforms to get anyone’s music out there to impact the world if musicians know what they are doing and have the drive do it.
It’s time to change the world, one song at a time!
